“Potential Energy” is confusing to me in some examples. I find it hard to imagine anything “built up” in a rock sitting at the tippy top of a mountain, it just seems to be referencing “gravity” which will act upon the rock. Now when Potential Energy is referred to something like a twisted rubber band, then it makes sense to me, since the rubber band is going to unwind when released regardless of gravity.

    thank you(:
    this helped so much..
i have a test tomorrow about this.’
    wish me luck..hahaha

    lol this is so gay

  8. LazyPrinzez says:

Hi! Um, I was wondering if you would allow me to use a part of this video? I need it for our Physics project (about motion) please??? I will put you in the credits!!! ^_^

  9. 65nerak says:

it is so awsome cause my science teacher in her 50′s (i think) loves youtube and gave us homework to watch it on youtube. then in media class were watching different parts of cool movies such as aliens and music videos, all on youtube

  10. LRidT says:

    very good!
i didn’t knew the series, but i really liked it.

it really explained the energything a lot better than my teacher!!

  11. SOCKHEADS007 says:

    teaches better than my teacher

Best. Educational. Video. I. Have. Ever. Seen. In. My. Life. I’m serious.

I have never watched an edcational video so entertaining, and yet so informative. I don’t think a teacher could ever explain the First Law of Thermodynamics as well as this video has. Ever.

Thank you SO MUCH for uploading this!

  13. dreamr56 says:

same i have to do it for home work real tuogh home work huh/!

  14. mrsuperdanny15 says:

good show hav to do it for home work

  15. michaellovegrove says:

yes there is, did you not watch the video?

  16. michaellovegrove says:

this video’s really annoying but i have to watch it for an assignment. :S

So for the electricity all you really need is object of lower potential energy in it to draw electricity out of it. Like with a giant. He really has potential energy but it can be only release once you push him over the cliff of something similar. Pressured balloon has potential energy stored in a form of pressured but it can be only released if you pop balloon. In other word you need some “medium” that will help you release or transfer that energy. Hope this helps.

  18. discovery1983 says:

Yes you can. Every object has potential energy. If you want to draw it you need another object with less potential energy and you will draw electricity out of any object. That is how electricity is created. One object on its own is an isolated system once you connect it to an object it can react with it will relies that energy. One bottle of 1bar pressure wont do any work. If you connect it with a hose to another bottle with 1 bar pressure still nothing. But what if one bottle has 2 bar?

  19. ilikedickinmyass7 says:

electricity is a different form of energy.
if the rock fell it would have the energy to kill you. the rock has the potential to fall. but if it just sits there is no energy.

  20. bubblebear83 says:

    Who are you shutting up?

  21. ngjovan says:

    shut up

  22. larpmaster64 says:

Am i the only one who thinks potential energy is a bunch of bullshit? I mean, let me see you pull electricity off of a still object. Can you? no.

  23. cookiegurl777 says:

    ooooh i get it now

  24. rydeenisok says:

this video was so helpful, thank you!

just connect a power line to the sun, BAM free energy

  32. jyothibasukalyanapu7 says:

    hi
can any one tell me abt the “wave form technology” specified in this video at the ending.

  33. happycburger2 says:

Brilliant!!!! Why aren’t there more of these????

  36. waggabiggadoo says:

be completely stupid to be completely smart

  37. waggabiggadoo says:

what about a wire attached to the earth connected to whatever in or beyond the space surrounding the earth relative to micro nano small devices and everything inbetween combined, or on a smaller scale some kind of combined solar power and turbine material

free energy devices look more attractive to me in their simplicity and mobility and infinite power potential from infinitely small space

    free energy devices

    energy from energy

    infinite energy from infinite energy

    thought

  38. waggabiggadoo says:

    GREAT VIDEO :)

  40. Dorisequador says:

    @06stephend Turbo lol

actually the poorest island whom need power can get power from wind alone in tropical areas.. strange noone build air turnbines which are and old system.

i agree @eddieyorke i am doing a project on this and i found that out too

  44. HorizSvcs says:

This is an enlightening video. It is time we harnessed the power of the oceans. A “renewable” future is our goal and for this, we need to tap Nature’s those resources, which she makes available to us in plenty.

  45. MrMoneyeyez says:

How come you don’t advertise this video? It’s cool to make a video, but NOT to advertise this video to people who can make these machines, thus creating jobs for you and your friends is just WRONG! ADVERTISE THIS VIDEO!

  46. georgel19841 says:

Just think, solar panels gate their energy from the sun, tidal power gate it from the
    MOON, …please rate

  47. seanotube85 says:

I’m surprised they hardly EVER mention algae biodiesel in these renewable energy programs. They always talk about crop fuels which is a stupid idea to start out with because it costs a lot of energy just to grow and harvest them.

  48. wavepsychic says:

We need more of this and less of Fossil and Nuclear. And what ever became of the energy source Tesla was working on? Anyway one thing is for curtain, if we do not find a sustainable eco-friendly energy source and soon then the human race wont exist for another thousand years.

  49. absorbamatron says:

Well actually, turbans don’t produce any power, they just cover terrorists heads. Therefore, it can be assumed that the narrator is a terrorist.

  50. thegangvault2 says:

Africa is not a nation, but a continent. And while it has abundant natural resources, corruption, war, famine, disease (aids, anyone?) etc have kept it from developing many of these.
